WELCOME
Climbing in Oxford. Mountaineering in Oxford. Hillwalking in Oxford. Climbing clubs in Oxford. Mountaineering clubs in Oxford.
We are a group of mountaineers, climbers and hillwalkers based in the Oxford area. We welcome enthusiastic people of all abilities and walks of life.
Whether you enjoy long rounds on the hills, classic mountaineering routes, long distance footpaths, road or mountain biking or roadside cragging, you're sure to meet some like-minded people amongst our membership.

We have members climbing at the lower grades up to those who like to push their limits at higher grades. We have an active group of hillwalkers. We are family-friendly and have a number of members who bring their children on meets. Why not get in contact and come and meet us.
Hopefully this site will explain what it's like to join the Oxford Mountaineering Club, but if you’d like to know a bit more about what it is like to join a mountaineering club, the British Mountaineering Council has a couple of articles: Why Join a Club? and Top five reasons to join a club.
